Paper Orbs, Ottawa/Gatineau
Paper Orbs is a massive origami installation that slowly disintegrates over the course of the night. Visitors are invited to take a Paper Orb and wear it as a crown, collar, or visor. Paper Orbs aims to bypass the routine habits of pedestrians by transforming how the public moves and relates to one another. These individualized folded thinking caps bring into tension the personal space of participants and the larger unity of a collective body.
